An important accessory for interpretation services
The main purpose of the Interpreter Booths is to block the voices of the interpreters during the event, and conceal the area where the interpretation equipment and cables required to transmit the translation are located.Interpreters make their best effort to speak quietly
Professional interpreters will always make an effort to speak at a very low volume and are rarely intrusive during a conference. However, when there are problems with the sound or when the speaker talks too fast, their volume tends to increase, in spite of their efforts, due to the additional concentration required for a proper interpretation.
The Interpretation Booth is essential during formal events and/or conferences with large numbers of attendants. However, in small and informal events it is easier to manage any inconvenience with the voice of the interpreters or the placement of the equipment.
When an interpretation booth is not available
In case booths are not available during your event, we will need a reserved area and a table for the interpreters and the simultaneous translation equipment. We recommend a zone with low traffic during the event and good visibility of the podium or place where the speaker will stand as well as the projection screen.Additionally, the area needs to be uncluttered to allow for a clear transmission of the radio signal.
So, whether or not you use an Interpretation Booth, we assure you that we will make our best effort to avoid any inconvenience.
